'Pillow Talk'
She may have the face of an angel, but don't let her pretty looks fool you. Reese is all about handling her business. She has proved to myself and many others that "Acting like a lady- Thinking like a bitch" (one of my favourite nebby quotes) can result in an abundance of successes. This Toronto based designer is the new name on all the lips of the city's movers and shakers. Her line is called Lulu Dash and her blog is on my list of favs and keeps me updated on the day in the life of the designer we have come to know and love. I had a chit chat with Reese for a little "Pillow Talk" recently and here's what she had to say...

BEST OR WORST DRESSED?
OSCARS 2011
Here is MY version of 'Fashion Police' for the red carpet...
Here is MY version of 'Fashion Police' for the red carpet...
Halle Berry is wearing Marchesa. Okay when doesn't she look absolutely stunning? Nude, crystal encrusted corset, complete with silk tulle ruffles = in love! Personally I would've added more jewelry on the arms...
Verdict: She looked aaahhhh-mazing

Anddd We're Back!!!
So we've been gone for a minute working on a whole new web page so that we could upgrade for all of you guys, but unfortunately things did not work out as planned. I'm sure you are all familiar with the age old saying ' If you want something done right... Do it yourself '
We tried making the website ourselves but it turns out that there are still some things that we have yet to master! LOL So with all of that being said the Lulu Dash web page is still under construction and has been passed through the hands of many professionals but like all things I life, building a website takes time. (and a lot more time than we had anticipated) We are genuinely sorry for leaving you guys in the dark and we've missed you dearly! To be quite honest we've missed you guys so much that we couldn't wait any longer post. So until our new home is ready you can find all the latest content here!
We hope that you will forgive me us for being gone for so long!!
We missed you
xxox

Bye for now...
Ugh, it's hard to say goodbye... It's 3:00 am and I'm still up! I've tired doing some unpacking, reading, and then sleeping... But all I can do is toss and turn, whiling thinking about how much I miss my friends and Toronto :'( - I've recently moved out of town for a bit... A few weeks ago my friends threw a surprise going away "gathering" for me, I had no idea... Sooooooo I am a HUGE softy - cried my eyes out for a good 15 minutes... Thank the lord I deleted all videos lol, but here are some photos... LOVE THEM ALL TO PIECES! xxo

Alta Moda was present at New York Fashion Week
I was blessed to be able to attend 4 shows this past week for "Nolcha fashion week, New York 2010" - Here are the high lights of my favs...
Vivienne Pash - This collection was very feminine. I love the unique cut of each garments and how the fabrics used draped the models figures perfectly. As a bonus each piece can be worn on many occasions.
SempreLei - has a hispanic aesthetic. The use of daring colours and carefully placed tassles makes this line fun and flirty, without being too overpowering. The lightweight and fabrics add to the femininity of each garment.
Ethical - This collection doesn't have a theme; nonetheless, there are some gorgeous and dynamic pieces! I love that there is a boho-chic mixed with indie aesthetic expressed throughout her line.
