The Weekend - If you don't know him by now, it's a name you are sure to be using A LOT in the near future! He is a fresh new face on the Toronto music scene and he is coming to claim the spotlight. All I can say is that every time I listen to him I get taken away into a different world and he leaves me speechless. His music stays steady on repeat and and his soul filled tunes are ones that I can't get out of my head.

Monster in the Subway

Now I'm usually not much of a subway person... The smell, the germs and the fact that its hot as hell down there are complete turn offs. But in order to really get a feel for NYC we decided to get it in! So were walking down into the subway to catch the train and we hear this loud and thunderous booming noise. Now im getting a little freaked out and im just about ready to turn around and just walk the rest of the way in my heels! We decide to thug it out and keep going. My heart starts beating like crazy as we turn the corner to approach the platform. We hang a left and this is what we saw...

Surprisingly, the New York subways were pretty clean and and let's just say we witnessed some very interesting characters down there. I loved every moment of it! Here's some more from our subway adventures.

Well Worth The Wait!

Sooo I watched the BET Awards, and had high expectations, I was somewhat pleased with what I saw but I have to say the highlight of the entire show hands down had to be Chris Brown's Michael Jackson tribute. It was honestly sooo touching and I think he just got a lot of fans back after that teary performance. I waited an entire year and then some for a tribute from CB and it was well worth the wait.

Now. I love R.Kelly. And I like this song like I do MOST of his, but I'm just curious where this video is reaaalllyyy going. -_- Apparently, this is the "official" music video for "Echo". I honestly can't believe that after watching it. There's no way his backside is THAT broke, I could've really made a better video on iMovie. *Tsk tsk* Anyway...here it is, don't get too excited. LOL

I love the fact that we have sooo many talented people in & around the GTA. It's about time Canada shows the rest of the world what he have to offer besides lumber & fish! GET OUTTAAA HERE! Anywaay you've gotta check my friend and talented artist, Brandon Brown in his latest single. I personally loved ALL of his older tracks and nothing is changing now. I've got this song on repeat on my computer lol. Not to mention the young lady featured on the track, Sarah Reid, has an incredible voice. All in all...LOVE IT! Keep it up Brandon, on behalf of myself and TORONTO...DOOOO THE DAMN THING!! =)
