LALA COVERS LATINA MAGAZINE
Lala looked beyond STUNNING in the April 2010 Cover issue of Latina Mag. You will find in her issue Carmelo cleared the air on everyone's assumptions about "not wanting to marry her".... Looks like he was the one waiting on her. She’s speaking of a first person piece she recently wrote for Latina.com on being Puerto Rican, in which she explained that, since childhood, people have often assumed that she is black. “Which I am!” she says, almost yelling. “But I am also 100 percent Puerto Rican and I’m proud of that. People got it twisted and thought I was saying, I’’m Puerto Rican. I’m not black. That isn’t what I was saying. It’s just that when I tell someone I’m Puerto Rican, I don’t want to hear someone say, ‘You ain’t Puerto Rican. You black.’ As if I can only be one or the other. Do I look like Jennifer Lopez? No. Clearly, I’m a black woman. However you want to define that, that’s what I am. And I’m also a Spanish-speaking Puerto Rican woman. Period.

2010 Oscars!!!!!!!
Monique won for best supporting actress - Loved her speech I must add!
Sandra Bullock won her first Oscar for best actress. She also won a Razzie award. For those who don't know this award is a celebration of the "best" in Hollywood schlock. She received worst actress honors for her groundbreaking turn in "All About Steve" ---> OH and I almost forgot SHE LOOKED STUNNING!!! Her dress was gaaaaaaaaawgeous, 2 thumbs up!
Kathryn Bigelow for best director. May not be the most productive director in the movie business, but she is one of the most accomplished. *Woot*Woot* cheers to her!
Melissa Rivers made her comments on how she wasn't a fan of Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey and Sarah Jessica Parker's choice of garments... What do you think?
My thoughts - Sarah Jessica Parker can do no wrong in my books! Mariah, Mariah, Mariah... Ummmm doesn't your back hurt??? I have NEVER been a fan of her image. I dislike the way she dresses butttttt she's Mariah so at the same time I can't really hate on her, well just on her attire. Now I thought Miley looked gorgeous... BUT I do agree with Melissa Rivers when she mentioned that she needs to stop slouching! She's a tall girl, I would soooooo flaunt it!!! And she's growing up!
I really wish I looked this put together when I was 15. LOL it was pretty much sweats for me! Anywhoo, some of you know her, some might not, but she's growing up nicely and shaping into a pretty young lady. She's got quite the wrap sheet when it comes to movies and I'd say she's a pretty good actor especially considering her age. Random actress of the moment...DAKOTA FANNING!
She does NOT look her age here AT ALL. Never-the-less, pretty picture.
I love the vibe of this picture. Not so much a fan of Kristen Stewart, but she's alright in this one. =)

I still don't wear heels on the regular like this. LOL Kudos to her!
