A lot of people had negative thoughts about MTV's, "16 & Pregnant" as well as it's follow up series, "Teen Mom". I heard a lot of people saying it wasn't something they should be showing on MTV, as it is in fact mostly teens watching. At first, it might not seem like the best idea, but when you actually watch and follow both shows, it proves to be a lot more than any of us thought. I felt it gave an unbiased look into the life of pregnant teenagers, and not only those living in poverty & out of school, but it showed the different options teens have and the completely opposite directions some of the teens' lives went. In my eyes, it gives those who may have ended up pregnant before they'd have liked, that you do have options, and your life is not over. It won't be easy but its not over. And for those that chose to not follow through with parenthood, you made the right decision for yourself, your future, and the future of your unborn child. I apologize for the seriousness of this post, soooooo on a lighter note.....
Season 2 of MTV's "16 & Pregnant" will be airing February, 16th! I don't know about you, but I'm a reality TV junkie, I'll DEFFFF be watching!
